You Better Support both Tekken 7 and Street Fighter 5 If You Want another Crossover, Tekken 7 to Run on the Unreal Engine 4!

Developers will resume work on it, if both Tekken 7 and Street Fighter V succeed commercially. An interview took place with Katsuhiro Harada of Bandai Namco in E3. He revealed that if Street Fighter V is in a great position and Tekken 7 succeeds commercially, there will definitely be time for a crossover.

Therefore, the easiest way in which we can receive TxSF is for both Tekken and Street Fighter to excel among fans. From a business perspective, this is a really good move. A lot of people have treated news involving TxSF as a foregone conclusion due to the release of SFxT before it.

However, a lot of gamers forgot that this game was poorly received and it soon got deleted from the competitive scene. Therefore, Bandai Namco needs to make sure that people will actually purchase Tekken x Street Fighter before any serious effort is put into making this title.

Right now, it is clear that Tekken 7 PC and console versions will run on Unreal Engine 4 and it will feature all the content from the arcade version and this will include the latest update titled Fated Retribution, which is yet to be released. It comes with new stages, new gameplay mechanics and includes a new guest character from Street Fighter, named Akuma.

Would you love another cross-platform game featuring Tekken and Street Fighter? Do you support and play both titles? Stay tuned for more updates on Tekken 7!
