Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro Compared to the Vivo V3 Max, Former Device to Feature 3GB of RAM and Fingerprint Scanner!

Similar to the Redmi 3, the Pro variant has 4100mAh battery that is non-removable in nature. The device runs on MIUI 7 but the Android version on this device is yet to be revealed. The camera on the Redmi 3 Pro is a 13-megapixel unit with LED flash, f/ 2.0 aperture, PDAF autofocus, and also supports 1080p full-HD video recording. The front facing 5 megapixels camera supports full-HD recording as well.

The Redmi 3 Pro has a hybrid SIM slot and it supports one Micro-SIM with another Nano-SIM besides a microSD slot. In terms of connectivity, the device features 4G LTE connectivity, with support for LTE bands in India.

There are other connectivity options which include Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, Glonass, GPRS/ EDGE, Micro-USB, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. It further measures 139.3×69.6×8.5mm and weighs around 144 grams.

Meanwhile, Hugo Barra, the VP of global operations talked about the Xiaomi Redmi 3, “It is best to just focus on one device for now, and kind of not bring the device even later because at that point it may not be (as relevant).

There may be an opportunity later to maybe bring a newer version of that product.” From the looks of it, the device will be a major success once it hits Asian markets.
