Xiaomi Mi5 to Be Released On 24th February, Raw Snapshot of The Device Leaked Shows Curved Front Panel!

In terms of processor, storage and RAM, the Mi5 will come with 3GB RAM and 32GB in-built memory, whereas the QHD variant will come packed with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage capacity. On top of that, it will be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 820SoC. In terms of cameras, the full-HD and QHD display models will have identical camera hardware.

The device will come with a 16MP camera having dual-LED flash, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and also a 13MP front-snapper with wide-angle capture ability. The Mi5 will run on MIUI 7.0 but it is yet to be determined whether it will run on the older generation Android 5.1.1 Lollipop or the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Like most devices of this age, the Mi5 will sport a fingerprint sensor. Currently, people are wondering whether it will be similar to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Sense ID 3D fingerprint technology, as seen in Letv Le Max Pro.

Xiaomi has been well-known for imitating Apple in various instances and they could do it again with the Mi5. According to latest reports, the Chinese company will incorporate 3D Touch Display in the Mi5 which is similar to the one seen in the iPhone 6S series. The feature known as ClearForce has been developed by Synaptics in collaboration with Xiaomi.
