The Xiaomi Mi5 is also called the Xiaomi Gemini, and according to one prominent tech-detective, the smartphone will launch during the month of February.
According to Pan Jiutang, a Chinese analyst, the company is likely to make an announcement in January 2016 and will finally launch the Mi5 in February, during the Spring Festival.
Xiaomi usually takes around 12-18 months for the development process of smartphones in the Mi series. Compared to other companies, the time taken by Xiaomi to develop and introduce a flagship series smartphone into the market is quite high.
To make significant progress in the current competitive market, Xiaomi will definitely have to cut down on its development time for flagship devices and make them available within a smaller period.
