Xiaomi Mi5 or Redmi Note 2 Will Be Showcased During the Event on 24th November, Rumors Indicate a Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 Release ad Well!

At the moment, there are a lot of rumors indicating that Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will be released on 24th November. There are still no reports indicating whether the Xiaomi Mi5 flagship smartphone or the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 will be announced by Xiaomi as the second product of its launch event.

A teaser image released shows the co-founder of the Chines firm and it clearly indicates that Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 will be announced next week. The image was uploaded by Xiaomi co-founder and President Lin Bin on the Weibo social site and upon proper examination; it was revealed that the device bears a very slim profile.

At the same time, the absence of LED Flash for the rear camera was also noted. The upcoming flagship smartphone by Xiaomi is the Mi5 and it goes without saying that the higher resolution rear camera of this device will definitely sport an LED Flash.

It was reported by Phone Radar that Bin actually teased the image of the highly-anticipated Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 tablet. Sadly, we still don’t know the entire specs of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 tablet.

The original Mi Pad was released in 2014 when it came with a plastic body. According to the latest rumors, the successor will come with a metallic frame and it will sport a 7.9inch display, similar to its predecessor. In the meantime, the primary specifications of the Mi Pad 2 tablet were spotted on the GeekBench benchmarking site.

According to the reveal, the Mi Pad 2 runs on an Intel Atom X5-Z8500 chipset. It comes with a quad-core processor which has the ability to deliver a 2.24GHz maximum processing speed.  An Nvidia Tegra K1 2.2 GHz quad-core processor was featured on the older model.

According to the past speculations, the Mi Pad 2 will run on the latest Windows 10 OS and furthermore, this tablet will come preloaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Keep in mind that the flagship Mi5 handset might not be revealed in the 24th November launch event.

The company will probably decide to reveal its flagship smartphone on the exclusive launch event to be held on 3rd December.

In other news, the Xiaomi Mi5 has been 3C credited in China. The products which are domestically made and the products which are imported in the country need to receive this certification.

When a product is CCC certified, it means that it has been tested to make sure that it is safe for consumer use. The products which pass the certification process get a 3C logo printed on them, which is now the case with Xiaomi’s next flagship model.

An event will be held on 24th November by Xiaomi in order to introduce the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro. This phone comes with specs that are similar to that of Xiaomi Redmi Note 2. However, it comes with a metal build and also a fingerprint scanner.

This will be the first device from Xiaomi that comes with a fingerprint scanner. This device also received the 3C certification around the same time as the Xiaomi Mi5. As a result, some people believe that both these devices will be released next week during the 24th November event.

Meanwhile, it has been 16 months since the Mi4 flagship was launched by Xiaomi. If you are considering today’s standards, it has been an eternity since Xiaomi launched a new flagship smartphone.

Thankfully, it is almost time for Xiaomi to take the wraps off the Mi5, especially since the 3C certification is now complete and the Snapdragon 820 processor has been made official.
