Recently, new and innovative features for the WWE 2K16 MyCAREER game mode was revealed in their official trailer. This highly anticipated bike is due to hit shelves next month and it should build up as an improvement over 2K’s highly scrutinized previous wrestling installment.

This new wrestling title will be quite different from WWE 2K16 in the sense that it will offer the chance to remain in WWE’s developmental brand, NXT. This will allow you to hone your craft in a way that is comparable to the career of Finn Balor, Kevin Owens and former NXT Women’s champion Sasha Banks.

Meanwhile, you can also set a target, if, let’s say your superstar is more forward-thinking. Once the gamers arrive in the WWE main roster, they will be able to select the direction which their superstar would prefer to take. This could be similar to CM Punk where you end up challenging the lower division titles first or make an immediate effect like Ryback and get into the world title hunt.

You also have the option to enter the tag-team division as well if you wish to become the next Dudley Boyz or Hawk and Animal. Keep in mind that your partners will be decided by the actions that are taken by your superstar in in his career.

If you end up making the save for another character, he is more likely to end up as your partner later in the story. Furthermore, WWE 2K16’s MyCAREER will last around 15 years, which should give enough time for gamers to explore a variety of different storylines and angles. This was something that last year’s title fell clearly short of.

It looks like WWE 2K16 will focus more on the career of your superstar and offer a wide-range of cut-scenes rivalries, drama at the end of the match with Renee Young, all of it with the final objective of ultimately reaching the WWE Hall of Fame.

Meanwhile, there is one specific storyline that was revealed by the recent trailer for WWE 2K16. Most WWE fans are already aware that ‘The Authority’, which is the partnership of Triple-H and Stephanie McMahon, presently plays a major role in WWE programming. With the latest developments in career, players will be given the opportunity to either side with them, or defy them completely.

In the meantime, 2K fans have been complaining a great deal about the lack of divas in the latest game of the franchise. The latest WWE 2K16 roster of 120 characters was revealed and fans complained regarding the absence of more divas in the latest 2K wrestling title.

2K simply responded saying, “We pushed as hard as we could to include Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Bayley in WWE 2k16, but it simply did not work out for various reasons,” the developer said in their announcement.”

They did not provide any details regarding the people they were shoving this idea towards or any information regarding who voted against it and why it ultimately didn’t work out. They declared, “We are proud to have and built the largest WWE roster to date featuring the most Divas ever.

The WWE 2K16 disc includes all of the Divas on the main roster at the time we locked it in (13 playable in total).” However, 2K admitted that the addition of Divas was great for business and they are further looking forward to celebrate the addition of more Divas in upcoming WWE titles.
