Wonder Woman Returning To Fight Blue Beetle In Injustice 2, Players Can Enjoy 30 New Fighters, Mortal Kombat’s Scorpion Might Also Be Featured

The trailer for Injustice 2 is out, and the fans are excited to see Wonder Woman back for the sequel of the highly popular game. The news of the Amazonian warrior princess coming back for Injustice 2 was already announced at the E3 this year, but fans still couldn’t hold back their excitement when they saw her in the trailer.

Wonder Woman had been a favorite character to play with in Injustice, and the players are happy to have her back. The trailer for the sequel shows Wonder Woman using her powers to fight the Blue Beetle and Gorilla Grodd.

Apart from showing the nemesis that Wonder Woman is going to deal with in Injustice 2, the trailer also reveals the changes that the game has brought in when it comes to her costume.

The Injustice 2 trailer shows Wonder Woman wearing her traditional costume of shorts, which as fans of the character have noticed, have some resemblance with the costume that Gal Godot wore for her role as Wonder Woman for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. There have been changes in her armor as well, with some elements of silver incorporated into it.

The trailer shows Wonder Woman combating Blue Beetle. Wonder Woman uses her Lasso of Truth and her sword. While she has her shield and sword to protect her, Blue Beetle is protected by his strength and power.

He also has a weapon that is part of the character’s movie set. Wonder Woman says that his mind tricks aren’t going to work on her since she is Amazon, and she calls Blue Beetle, the child that Batman has sent to fight her.

NetherRealm has introduced Blue Beetle as the other playable character in Injustice 2. The character was unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con. This announcement didn’t cause much excitement since the players were already aware of Blue Beetle being a part of Injustice 2, after the game director Ed Boon had posted about it on his Twitter account.

He had shared a list of characters and had asked people to vote for their choice. The result saw Blue Beetle lead the list with 39% of the votes, closely followed by Swamp Thing and Captain Cold. This prepared fans for the fact that NetherRealm is going to go ahead with Blue Beetle for Injustice 2.

Injustice 2 is going to be bigger and better than its first version. Apart from characters like Batman, Superman, Aquaman, Flash, Supergirl, Gorilla Grodd and Atrocitus, the players can also go ahead and play with Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle.

Ed Boon’s conversations are always filled with teasers of the upcoming games, and this is exactly what he did for Injustice 2 in the Comic-Con. He teased that there are going to be close to 30 fighters in the game.

While talking about the characters, he also said that there is a list of DC Comic heroes and villains who are going to be incorporated into the game. There is a demand for Zoom and the Suicide Squad apart from Beast Boy and Red Hood.

Boon revealed that if the fans of Injustice 2 were asked to name ten characters that were in the game, they would get seven of them in it. That is a good sign since it means that the game developers have kept in touch with what the fans want for the game and have delivered them something close to that.
