Meanwhile, Maura Tierney won her first Golden Globe Award on Sunday Night for Best Performance by an actress in the supporting role of a TV Series. At the award ceremony, she spoke to Variety backstage and revealed that things will be a lot different for the upcoming third season.
According to Tierney the structure and pattern of the show will change in a great way, during the third season. She further revealed that a narrative structure would be involved and things will be pretty exciting.
The actress further thanked her writers who presented her with something through which she was willing to let thicken her skin. “They presented me with really challenging things to do and I really wanted to be up to the challenge,” she said. “I think my work excited the writers and the writers’ work excited me.”
She further revealed that her character is doing whatever is possible to deal with a heartbreaking situation but hopefully, she will find her strength along the way. The Golden Globe winner further talked about Helen, saying that she thinks of her as a woman who is currently struggling to handle a very difficult situation.
