After that Pam is being put into a quarantine by Theo and Megan and she was later sent outside the fence by Jason. She was killed outside and the soldiers of the First Generation sets her body on fire.
Now, Friedman had stated that Pam has returned for the entire season, however, we see the death of the character in the very same episode in which she makes her return. It will be interesting to see if and when this character will be brought back once again by the showrunners further into a season.
Once Upon a Time in Wayward Pines featured a number of flashback scenes and the episode also shed some light onto the origin of the character of Jason Higgins.
In other news, Mark Friedman revealed that the character of C.J. Mitchum is called The Duster. C.J. is a historian, who is also a farmer. The reason behind this strange name as stated by Friedman- “He [C.J. Mitchum] was the only person who saw mankind disappear, because he would get up every 20 years and turn on the television and see the news. And one time he woke up and there was just snow and people were gone.”
