Vikings Season 4: Ragnar and Rollo to Engage in an Epic Battle, Floki Might Die, Bjorn Heads to The Wilderness to Prove His Mettle, And More

Vikings Season 3 had ended with Rollo (Clive Standen) betraying his brother Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) and continuing to stay back in Paris under the protection of Emperor Charles (Lothaire Bluteau).

There were rumors since the very beginning that Rollo hasn’t seen the end of this action of his and Inquisitr has reported that Rollo and Ragnar might engage in the most epic battle that the fans of the series have ever witnessed.

Vikings Season 4 had started with Rollo establish his power by killing all the Vikings that had remained back in Paris. It was thought that maybe Rollo had betrayed Ragnar in the public to make the Parisians realize he is on their side and thereby get the Vikings in to the city stealthily to defeat it once and for all.

However, that doesn’t seem to be the reality. Rollo has always lived under the command of his more powerful and able brother and now that he has gotten a chance to prove his worth, he isn’t going to let Ragnar take it away from him.

He is shown drawing up a battle plan with the Parisians on how to defeat the Vikings and it is only a matter of time before Ragnar and Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) is out to finish him off.

Bjorn, Ragnar’s eldest son, is already angry with the fact that Rollo has betrayed his father and has caused him to be injured so badly at the Battle of Paris. Bjorn is hell bent on avenging his father’s betrayal in his uncle’s hand and Bjorn is known to make sure that he completes what he has set his mind on, irrespective of how difficult it might be.

Vikings Season 4 will be the last season for Ragnar since Travis Fimmel, who plays the role will be leaving the series to focus on his Hollywood career. This is going to be the last season for the fans of Ragnar and it is going to be an exciting one.

Travis Fimmel had informed The Sydney Morning Herald that the fans who are watching Vikings Season 4 should be prepared to see a huge battle between the two brothers.

Fimmel has stated that Ragnar is well aware of Rollo’s tendency to betray and he is going to put an end to this problem once and for all. The battle is going to be of epic proportion and it is going to be a matter of time before fans realize who is going to come out of it as a victor.

Ragnar is going to be killed this season. History states that Ragnar is killed by King Aelle (Ivan Kaye) when he throws Ragnar into a pit full of venomous snakes. There is enough indication that this is how Ragnar will die in Vikings Season 4 since the trailer for the season all shows snakes slithering all over him.

Vikings Season 4 has shown that Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard) who was once known to be famous shipbuilder has been arrested by Bjorn for killing Athelstan (George Blagden). This trail will see Ragnar being torn between his role of a friend and a king. Design and Trend has reported that Ragnar will give Floki a chance to defend himself, but Floki admits his fault.

The trailer showed Ragnar and Floki’s wife Helga (Maude Hirst) look at corpse while she adds that Floki loved Ragnar and Ragnar whispers back saying that Floki doesn’t love anyone, but himself. This indicates that Floki might be killed in Vikings Season 4.
