Transformers 5: Akiva Goldsman and His Team Working Hard, Michael Bay Back On Board!

Transformers; Age of Extinct had created the buzz about the upcoming Transformers movie since it hinted at Optimus Prime leaving for space. With Paramount roping in Akiva Goldsman to head the writers’ room, there is a lot of buzz that the upcoming movie is going to have some interesting plot line in store for the fans. There are reports that Transformers 5 will have new robots. Apart from the usual crowd of Optimus Prime, Ultra Magnus, Cyclonus, Blitzwing, Override, Scourge and Red Alert, there will be some robots joining the ranks.

Fans can be rest assured about a grand script for Transformers 5 since there are writers like Art Marcum and Matt Holloway from Iron Man, Steven DeKnight of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dare Devil, Lindsey Beer from Black Hawk Down, Robert Kirkman from The Walking Dead and many more. With such talents coming together to create the script for Transformers 5, fans are sure to not be disappointed.

While the writers have been very tight lipped about the plot for Transformers 5, Akiva Goldsman has hinted that the writers are going through the history for the franchise, by looking into the toys and comics to come up with a story that will be honest to the franchise’s origin.

Even DeKnight has commented on Collider, stating that the atmosphere in the writers’ room has been very charged up. The team is working hard to expand the universe and bring fans things that they had always wanted to see, but couldn’t ever imagine were possible.

Day Herald has reported that Transformers 5 will see Optimus Prime heading to face to meet with the Quintessons, who is the father of the Autobots. There is big news for the fans in the upcoming movie. It is claimed that this movie will see the face-off between Optimus Prime and Unicron, who is the leader of the Decepticons.

Fans have been hoping for Optimus Prime to meet Unicron in an ultimate battle ever since the first Transformers movie was released, but it hadn’t happened. With this news doing the rounds, fans of the Transformers franchise sure hope that they aren’t disappointed this time round.

While Paramount Pictures hasn’t come out to make any official confirmation about the star cast of the film, Mark Wahlberg, who had been a part of Transformers: Age of Extinction has confirmed that he is going to be part of the upcoming film.

The last Transformers movie had taken a completely different plot line and it proved to be a great success. Megan Fox had initially expressed a keen interest in returning to the Transformers franchise, however she said that she would do so only if her co-star Shia LeBouf would join her.

Since Megan Fox is busy with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Shia LeBouf not showing any interest on joining the franchise again, Paramount Pictures is going to continue with the new plot line even in the upcoming film, with Mark Wahlberg and Nicole Peltz.

In an interview with Collider, Wahlberg had confirmed his presence in the upcoming film and had even fuelled a lot of rumors when he stated that Michael Bay will be returning to direct Transformers 5.

Michael Bay had decided to leave Transformers so that he could focus on his other films and Paramount Pictures had even decided to go ahead and bring Jonathan Liebesman, Bay’s protégé to replace him in the director’s chair.

  1. I want to see Knockout from TFP in the film, and it will be so easy to put him in the midst of the story. All they would have to do is confirm him as a new decepticon, of course he’ll have conflict with the Autobots, but once he realizes who’s winning like in TFP, he’ll come to his senses and finally realize that he “never had the best role models” and join the Autobots. I would like to see him as an Aston Martin Vanquish or a 2016 Galpin Fisker Mustang Rocket. Do i make myself clear fellow fans?…
