Transformers 5: Akira Goldman Leads The Writer’s Team, Paramount Planning A Crossover, And More Details!

Transformers: Age of Extinction was a major success and Paramount wants Transformers 5 to do bigger business. With Hasbro owning both G.I.Joe and Transformers, there are rumours that Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson will be brought on board for a joint film venture between the two franchises.

There is some confusion when it comes to the casting of the film. Wahlberg has confirmed that he is part of the Tranformers 5 while it is being said that Megan Fox and Shia LeBeouf will also be seen in it. The timeline for Wahlberg and LeBeouf is not same and there isn’t any insight about a possibility of time travel in the world of Transformers, so how will the actors be cast in the film?

Some claim that there may be an element of time travel in the film through flashbacks and this will help the three actors be in the same film together.

Michael Bay and Megan Fox had some issues while filming Transformers and Megan was removed from the third installment and with talks of Bay returning in the director’s chair it is to be seen how things pan out between the two of them. Megan Fox and Michael Bay have remained very tight lipped about Transformers 5 and we have no way to find out what is about to happen.

Paramount pictures has always kept a gap of two years between every Transformers movie and with the last movie out in 2014, Transformers 5 is likely to release in 2016.
