Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege to Get a US-Based DLC Soon, Patch 2.3 Rolled Out by Ubisoft!

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege was released in the previous year and just in the recent past the online multiplayer game received its first DLC in the form of Operation Black Ice. It was a Canada based expansion pack that brought a number of new aspects to the game including two brand new Canadian operators- Buck and Frost.

Some other things that were added to the game via the update are a number of new weapons and also new skins for the various weapons of the game. A brand new map was also brought forth by the update which was actually a luxury yacht stranded in the Arctic waters.

Ubisoft has already come forward with an announcement in which they have claimed that three more expansion packs for the game will be released in the ongoing year.

An image was released in this regard which clearly showed the next DLC will be an US based one. It is scheduled to be released in the second quarter of the ongoing year. As for the other two expansion packs, one will be based on Brazil and the final one will be based on Japan.

The Brazil based DLC will be released in the third quarter of 2016 and the Japan based one in the fourth quarter of the same year.

Various rumors regarding the next DLC, that is the US based one have been doing rounds on the internet for quite some time. It is being assumed that Ubisoft might roll it out on April 14.

The reason behind this assumption could be accounted to the fact that gamers have been able to find a number of calendars at various sites within the game. All these calendars had the April 14 date marked and this has sparked off the rumor that the US based DLC will be released on that date.

No since the previous DLC brought forth new operators, weapons and weapon skins to the game, it is being assumed that the upcoming DLC will also pack similar contents. If indeed the DLC brings new operators, they will most likely be US operators.

That apart, some new weapons and weapon skins are also on the cards when it comes to the contents of the US based DLC. Chances are high that a brand new map is also included in the update.

Ubisoft recently made a statement about the game in which it explained that they want to keep on providing new contents for the game that will continue to draw fans to it.

In an Ubisoft blog post it stated– “Our vision was not a game that you’d play through and “beat,” but something you’d regularly come back to. In order to do that, we’ll be actively supporting ‘Rainbow Six Siege’ with gameplay balancing and tweaks (plus detailed patch notes), events and competitions, and four major content releases with no paywall on gameplay content.”

In other news, the game recently received patch 2.3 which brought about several bugs and error fixes to it along with some tweaks and improvements. It was released on March 30 for the PC version of the game and on April 5 for the console version ones. The patch comes with a size of 617MB.
