A renowned website reports that the character of Heimdall, played by Idris Elba might be killed off in Thor: Ragnarok. Heimdall is the keeper of the Bifrost Bridge of Asgard. This character will reportedly die at the hands of Hela. Hela is an Underworld Goddess and aside from killing Heimdall she might also be seen destroying the Mjolnir, which is the hammer of Thor.
The site also reports that the character of Hela might be portrayed by Cate Blanchett in the movie.
The character of Hela might form some sort of alliance with Loki and unleash destruction on the Nine Realms. She reportedly possesses the ability to reincarnate and utilizes black magic to defeat her enemies.
It was also reported that though the character of Heimdallis supposed to die in the movie, he will once again return in a spirit form at the end along with other fallen heroes of Asgard to wage a war against Hela and Loki.
Thor: Ragnarok is being directed by Taika Waititi. Chris Hemsworth will reprise his role of the Norse God of Lightning- Thor in the upcoming movie. Samuel L. Jackson is also expected to make an appearance in it as Nick Fury. The movie will hit the big screen on November 3, 2017.
