Thor 3: Thor’s Demise Likely in Phase 3 of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe, the Cause Being Ragnarok, And More

After Civil War, Thor will return to Earth and start rebuilding Asgard which was decimated after the events of Ragnarok brought about by the Fire Demon Sutfur and Loki. Originally, it is written that Odin is defeated by Sutfur which results in Odinpower being transferred to Thor. In the meantime, Loki discovers the mould which was used to create Thor’s Hammer Mjolnir.

He starts making his own weapons with the help of which he attacks Thor. This ultimately results in a war that destroys both Asgard and Mjolnir. In the meantime, Thor decides to set out and find the wisdom of Odin. However, he ultimately discovers that Ragnarok is being manipulated by beings that are known as Those Who Sit Above in Shadow.

Due to their manipulation, Ragnarok is in the process of repeating itself so that they can feed off the energy caused by it. Thor destroys himself in order to destroy this cycle which leaves his body in a state of death, similar to Limbo.

Meanwhile, it is being reported that Thor 3: Ragnarok could end up being worse than fans expect as this is the last time we probably get to see Thor on-screen. Speculations also suggest that the God of Thunder will be the first casualty in Phase 3 of Marvel Cinematic Universe.
