To make the wait a little more exciting Marvel Studios has given out information about what fans can be looking forward to in the upcoming Thor film named “Thor 3: Ragnarok”. Fans last saw Thor in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” where the movie ended showing Thor fly back to Asgard. The primary reason for Thor to fly back was to find information about Infinity Gem.
Reports of Youth health magazine says that the events of Thor 3 will be very crucial for the Marvel Universe as the main plot of the movie revolves around the end of the world and the rise of Infinity Stone. Infinity stone when put together with Infinity Gauntlet, will give out massive power.
In another report from Cinema Blend it was suggested that Chris Hemsworth will not be playing the role of Thor forever and it is subject to change. Marvel Comics has come up with yet another twist in the tale, it has hinted at a female Thor and that Foster might get the hammer.
Jane Foster is one of Thor’s lady love who is played by actress Natalie Portman in the films. The report further suggests that Thor might take his last breath or give up his powers. The hammer will then be taken up by Jane. She will prove that she is more than capable to carry the hammer around and the power it brings.
In Avengers: Age of Ultron, Marvel Universe has already opened up scope for the above to happen. In the movie it was shown that people other than Thor can also carry the hammer. Avengers: Age of Ultron saw Vision who was played by Paul Bettany carry the hammer. It showed that Vision could pick the hammer up with no difficulty. This certainly allows the future movies change the story line and show Foster with the hammer.
