The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt: Retrospective Trailer Released By Developer, Website Offers 50% Discount On The Game, And More

The Witcher 3: Wild hunt has been one of the most successful games that have been released in the current year. The game has been able to garner positive reactions from fans and the experience continues to get better with release of expansion packs for the game by the developers.

With wins in multiple categories in this year’s Golden Joysticks Awards, it could be safely stated that the game has left quite a mark in the gaming world.

The Golden Joysticks Awards entered its 33rd year in 2015. It is also popularly known as the People’s Gaming Awards and is the second oldest award ceremony for games. The winners are decided by votes of the British General Public in different categories. Initially, the award ceremony was focused only on PC games but went on to include console games too at a later time.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has won awards in different categories in the Golden Joysticks Awards which include award in the Best Gaming Moment category, the Best Storytelling category, Best Visual Design category and the Ultimate Game of the Year category.

The developer of the game CD Projekt RED has decided to celebrate the game’s success in an innovative way. An Epic retrospective trailer was released by the company which is a throwback to the game’s journey till date from the time of its release.

It provides some memorable moments from the game to its viewers and also focuses on the journey that the game has gone through since its release in May this year.

The free DLC campaign that the developer undertook also gets a mention in the video. The Hearts of Stones DLC for the game which was released in October is also highlighted in the trailer.

Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, the Game Director took to the official YouTube page of the game to state that everyone in the crew had worked hard for the development of The Witcher 3 and their hard work has been paid off by the immense success of the game.

He mentioned that the company has constantly tried to innovate the game in every possible way and The Witcher 3 is leaps and bounds ahead in every aspect and element when compared to the previous Witcher title.

The Game Director also said that based on feedbacks from fans it could be safely stated that the Hearts of Stones DLC has successfully worked towards enhancing the gaming experience of Witcher 3 and the developers are hard at work to make the next DLC, the Blood and Wine even better. The Blood and Wine expansion pack is scheduled for a 2016 release and it will be the final DLC for the game.

GOG.com has recently announced a discounted rate for The Witcher 3. It could be assumed that the website is offering the game at a discounted rate in its Thanksgiving or Fall Sale. Currently the website is offering a 50 percent discount on the game and it is available at just $30.

This could definitely be accounted for as a great deal considering the fact that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of the best games to be released in the current year. The sale is currently on and will last till 5:59 AM Pacific time of 29th November.

Award winning composer Mikolai Stroinski who was the music composer for The Witcher 3has been roped in by the developer of Sniper Ghost Warrior 3. He is set to compose the music for the upcoming shooting game which is still in its developmental stages.
