Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams have starred in a video together on the occasion of the sixth nomination for The Voice in the Emmy Awards for the Outstanding Reality-Competition Program. Paisley and Shelton even plead for the show to win because they want to see an Emmy for real.
The Voice did win the Emmy for the Outstanding Reality-Competition Program in 2013. However, the program has again got a nomination for the second time and this time they are campaigning hard to win the second time.
Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams, the two of the winning coaches from The Voice are out gathering support for the reality program to win the Emmy this time as well. The Voice has six nominations this year and they are out to win all six.
This year The Voice has programs like Dancing with the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, Project Runway, Amazing Race and Top Chef in the run with them. Amazing Race has won the award in this category for ten years, but The Voice is hoping to make this the second year for their show.
