Rihanna is all set to become a part of The Voice Season 9. The singer signed the contract with NBC and is going to join names like Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams.
Rihanna is not going to be a judge on the show, rather she is set to be the chief advisor for the coaches who train the contestants on the popular show. The news about Rihanna joining The Voice was revealed by Robert Greenblatt, who is the Chairman of the entertainment section of NBC.
At the Television Critics Association Press Tour, Greenblatt said that they are lucky to have Rihanna on board with them for The Voice Season 9. She is a great performer and singer and she will be a great contributor to help the participants grow.
According to E! Online, Rihanna is going to be appearing on The Voice Season 9 when the new season premieres on 21st September. The Voice is known to get top celebrity performers and singers on board as advisors.
Rihanna wasn’t available for comment. The singer is currently working with Def Jam records. The singer is known for her sense of fashion as well as her voice and she recently won the Fashion Icon Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) for her role as a fashion icon. The Barbadian singer has got a new tattoo. She has got 1988 tattooed on her right ankle and has shared a photo of it on her Instagram account.
They have previously had Coldplay front man Chris Martin, Taylor Swift, Nate Ruess from Fun as advisors for the coaches. The artists have gone ahead to mentor and train the talented group of participants who grace the show every season.
The Voice has had Adam Levine and Blake Shelton on board as judges again this year. The two have been an integral part of the show since first season of The Voice that was in 2011. There is official confirmation on the fact that these two will be joined by Pharrell Williams for the third time.
Pharrell Williams joined as a judge on The Voice in Season 7 when Gwen Stefani was also there, but he had left the Voice before the eighth season when Christina Aguilera came in place of him. Since Aguilera had recently delivered a baby, she will be taking a break from The Voice for Season 9 and is expected to be back on board on Season 10 of The Voice.

There is news that for The Voice Season 9 Brad Paisley will come on board as the chief advisor for Blake Shelton’s team while John Fogerty, the Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman will be helping the participants on Adam Levine’s team.
Blake Shelton had gone on news to praise the advisor for his team. People Magazine reported that the singer said that Brad Paisley has been a great advisor for his team. Shelton felt that Paisley mentoring his team made perfect sense he had even mentored Shelton in his earlier in his career.
