The 5X features a 5.2inch display with a full HD 1920X1080pixels resolution. According to Android Police, the upcoming S1 will feature a full-HD 5inch display. Under the hood, the LG Nexus 5X has a 64bit Hexa-Core processor with a Snapdragon 808 chipset.

It is clocked at 1.84GHz and runs on 2GB of RAM. It is available in two different storage variants, 16GB, and 32GB. The successor will feature a 2.0GHz 64bit processor.

The chipset manufacturer is still unknown. The HTC Google Nexus 2016 Sailfish will run on 4GB of RAM. The base model will have a storage capacity of 32GB. It will be available in many storage variants.

The Nexus 5X has a 12.3-megapixel rear shooter and a 5megapixel front shooter. The successor will have a 12megapixel rear camera and a 5megapixel front camera. We saw Nexus 5X releasing with Android Marshmallow on-board.

The Nexus Sailfish includes house speakers located on the bottom. We still don’t know if it will come with dual speakers.

It will have a 3.5mm audio jack located on the top and will feature Bluetooth 4.2. The Nexus 5X gets its juice from a 2700mAh battery. The successor will be powered by a slightly larger 2770mAh battery. Similar to the 5X, the upcoming Sailfish will feature a fingerprint reader located on the back.

The Nexus 5X 16GB and 32GB versions were released with price tags of $379 and $429. Speculations suggest that the base model of HTC Nexus Sailfish (S1) will be priced at399 dollars.

Meanwhile, rumors indicate that the bigger HTC Nexus, Marlin (M1), will run on a Quad Core processor. It will feature a 5.5inch Quad-HD AMOLED display. It will have a 12-megapixel rear snapper and an 8-megapixel front camera. The device has a fingerprint scanner located on the rear panel and runs on 4GB of RAM.

It will be powered by a 3450mAh battery and come with 32GB and 128GB storage variants. The only difference between Marlin and Sailfish is that the former features a higher resolution display and a greater battery. According to Android Police, both these devices will feature the same camera, CPU, hardware, and RAM.

Reports indicate that the Snapdragon processor powering the Marlin will be the 820, or the rumored 821/823. The 5.5inch QHD AMOLED screen will have a display resolution of 2560×1440 pixels.

The speakers will be located at the bottom, and it will come with a USB Type-C port as well. Bluetooth version 4.2 will be offered regarding connectivity.

The battery in this device will be bigger than the one in the Sailfish. Leaks suggest that both Nexus smartphones have a lot of features in common.

However, they differ in battery capacity and display size. The strategy seems somewhat similar to Apple’s iPhone and iPhone Plus variants. Both these HTC Nexus devices will feature similar designs. However, it is not clear whether they will have the HTC branding on the back.
