The game was shown last year at E3 and it was quite different in comparison to the traditional Zelda games. Present reports indicate that it will be bigger, more imaginative and filled with interesting quests. However, a popular game like Legend of Zelda which enjoys cult status needs to live up to its promises. On that account, we can say that Nintendo took a right decision in not rushing it.
Over the past year, we have seen how big developers like Ubisoft messed up with world-popular gaming franchises like Assassins Creed. Being a fan doesn’t mean they’ll accept everything you throw at them.
However, Nintendo is in major need of some good titles that can hopefully fill the emptiness. Reports indicate that Star Fox Wii U will be up for sale this year but Nintendo needs to revive more franchises in order to make the Wii U more appealing.
