Fans have started speculating whether the stories of both the games will be overlapping each other. A possibility of the return of the Wolf Link is also being discussed by fans across various community forums.
In other news, it was recently reported that Nintendo might stop the production of the Wii U console altogether. This sparked rumors that the game will released only for the NX console and naturally it caused a lot of unrest among fans.
It was assumed that Nintendo is shutting down the production of the Wii U to make way for the new Nintendo NX console. Renowned Japanese newspaper Nikkei came forward with a particular report in which it claimed that the production of a number of accessories for the Wii U has already been stopped by Nintendo. It further claimed that the company will cease production of the console by the end of the current year.
However, fans need not worry as Nintendo has come forward with an announcement in which the company clearly mentions that the claim made by Nikkei is not related to them and the company is not planning to stop the production of Wii U. This means that The Legend of Zelda will release for the said platform after all.
