Meanwhile, the oldest couple on the show, the Foleys, are going to make an appearance on Saturday in the West Perth game at Arena Joondalup. Dan, who is 55 years old, is a former Aussie rules footballer who began at West Perth, which has his father, Brian Foley, as its alumni. The senior Foley had won the 1959 Sandover medal for the club.
Dan debuted in the Victorian Football League midway in 1983, where he played for Richmond. Injuries plagued him in 1984, though he returned in 1985 to play five more games.
On Saturday, Dan and Carleen are to toss the coin and are to be present for a meet-and-greet from 1 p.m.
