The two models are 30 years apart and when it comes to the figures, there is an obvious increase in engine output, the available transmissions and the four-wheel drive systems. However, both of these models can tow around 3500 pounds and in terms of payload rating, only 200 pounds favor the 2016 Toyota Tacoma.
