2016 Nissan Maxima: Tech Specs and Prices Revealed, Termed the ‘Best Sedan’ in its Class, More Information

Pierre Loing, Vice President, Product Planning, Nissan North America declared how they expected the 2016 Maxima to do well with its re-engineered chassis, transmission and engine. However, they were admittedly quite surprised by the head-to-head test results against some very well-established luxury sports sedans.

The cars from BMW, Acura and Audi were obtained from manufacturer authorized dealerships by AMCI testing and the 2016 Nissan Maxima was supplied by Nissan North America. During the testing, all stability and traction controls were turned off for all laps and each of them began from a 40mph or a (64kmph) “Pace Car” Start. Check out the video in order to see how each of them performed.

The 2016 Nissan Maxima may well turn out to be a really cool and powerful car but right now we’re just wondering what the rivals have to say.
