Reports indicate that the all new Chevrolet Camaro 2016 will soon be on the roads! Before that takes place, the automaker revealed quite a few details regarding this upcoming vehicle. First of all, it will come with both convertible and coupe versions and both of these styles are similar to the two models, the SS and the LT.
The change is in the form of only 1LT, 2LT, 1SS and 2SS trim levels. The entry level Camaro will be available at a price of $26,995 with a destination charge of $995. This actually shows an increase in $2000 compared to its predecessor.
The V6 Camaro on the other hand, is priced at $28,190 including all destination charges. The most powerful V8 Camaro is priced at $37,295 including the destination charges. Meanwhile, what is so great about the new Camaro? Firstly, the upcoming 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is priced at a higher range but most people do not know that it is equipped with Chevrolet’s latest and high-tech powertrains.
The automaker took the GM architecture from the Cadillac ATS and the CTS and according to Chevrolet; this makes it structurally 29% rigid. With the smaller alpha architecture, the engineers of the new Camaro have shed all the additional weight part by part and come up with an amount which is around 200 pounds lesser than the present Camaros.
