Half of the mineral patches consist of 1500 minerals while the other half consists of 750. The primary objective was to introduce a change that would that would keep the idea of resourcing rates similar to Heart of the Swarm.

The starting worker count has been increased to 12. It will significantly reduce the downtime faced while beginning the game. The target acquisition of range units has been improved. The developers mean to see if any strange errors are caused by this change. Meanwhile, the game clock will tick at a much lower speed in StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void.
