Star Wars: Battlefront 3 will have a better and more commendable Artificial Intelligence. The first two games came out on prehistoric hardware and can be forgiven for having enemies that are nothing more than targets on a shooting range. However, the current generation consoles with their cutting edge hardware will feature a more advanced AI.
Gamers don’t expect stupid enemy AI standing in the open and taking potshots at them, which miss 90% of the time. Along with better AI, the game should feature AI that can be commanded by players. It should prevent you from feeling like a lone ranger standing in the middle of a fleet of automatons.
It would be really exciting to see random ship layouts in multiplayer battles. For example, you are boarding an X-wing and blasting TIE fighters in space, followed by hopping into a dreadnaught in order to take over its control room. These were a major rush in the earlier Battlefront games. Star Wars: Battlefront 2 should include customizable heroes.
In Battlefront 2 the battlefield could be spiced up and made more interesting for the players taking part in it, thanks to the traditional heroes like Yoda and Darth Vader. In Battlefield 3, it would be really awesome if players can make their own hero and choose from a range of powers that unlocks over a period of use. Players nowadays really love the ability to customize and level their online characters.
