Even though the end customer is different, when it comes to the market shares, Windows has a long way to go. Microsoft should consider upgrading the Windows platform according to the wishes of the customer, in order to gain popularity.

Windows-powered smartphones are complicated to use, although, they offer better security than Android smartphones. However, as far as usability is concerned, Microsoft could learn a thing or two from Google.

The Windows OS is preventing Microsoft from achieving greater sales figures and this has been the story since the Redmond-based company took over Nokia. Whether it is the Lumia 550 or the flagship 950 lineup, the devices are plagued with the same problems.

However, the battery backup is decent on all Lumia devices, along with the camera. Hence, Microsoft should make a list of what’s working for them and what’s not, and start working on a smartphone, based on the valuable inputs from existing customers. In order to come up with a desirable product.
