Spoils of Qunari DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition Introduces Several New Features But Only For PC, PS4 and Xbox One, More Information

Recently, there was an announcement from BioWare stating that they will only bring out DLCs for next-generation consoles, namely Microsoft’s Xbox One and Sony’s PlayStation 4, besides PC. People on older generation consoles who have been thoroughly enjoying the game and awaiting new DLCs is quite disappointed with this move.

This appears to be a forced attempt from BioWare to migrate from last generation to the new generation consoles. BioWare officially declared that all further DLC expansion packs and updates will be released for PlayStation, Xbox and PS4 only. This is a major disappointment but thankfully BioWare has introduced a save-import feature.

With the help of this, gamers will be able to transfer date from the last generation consoles to the new ones. BioWare further declared that this save-import feature will be made available with the release of the latest patch for Dragon Age: Inquisition.

The next part is obvious but still worth mentioning that this feature will not allow you to transfer save games from PS3 to Xbox One or from Xbox 360 to PS4. At the same time, PC data import/export is not supported as well. Furthermore, if the player bought the DLC on last generation consoles, they will be able to download it free of cost on the next-generation consoles when upgrading.

However, gamers should use the same Xbox Live or PlayStation Network account during download. Players can also import only one set of data at a single time. The older set of save data will be overwritten if data saved in more than one occasion/date is imported. BioWare also has a step by step FAQ regarding the working of this mechanism.

This could be a good or a bad move depending upon what console is being used by the gamers. People who are using the last generation consoles and planning to keep it that way are in trouble.

At the same time, this is good news for next generation console users. In case of the new generation console owners, this is definitely good news as the DLCs will be release faster and will be more polished at the same time. The scope of the last-generation consoles were limited that this certainly improves things overall.

Meanwhile, Spoils of Qunari is the latest piece of downloadable content available for Dragon Age: Inquisition. People who enjoyed Iron Bull will be definitely quite happy with this new development. It is themed on the People of the Qun and will be quite pleasing for the Bull. The new DLC comes with new features like decorations and armor which are based on the Qunari Style.

It also includes a huge throne along with statues that can be placed all over Skyhold. Arishok’s armor set and a war mount is also available along with it. The items that were showcased via the announcement are not just for the Iron Bull but for other party members as well.

Iron Bull is one of the most popular characters in Dragon Age: Inquisition because his war-hungry character style and his use of brute force makes him the center of attraction in most of the battles. This is the fifth DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition and is available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. As mentioned before, the previous generation Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles will be excluded from this DLC update.

The new content came as a major surprise for fans of Dragon Age: Inquisition since the developers did not announce anything officially before its official launch recently. The Dragon Age: Inquisition community was almost totally unaware that a new DLC was under development until BioWare announced that it was available for purchase.
