The casting notices for Spider-Man: Homecoming is still coming through. Michael Mando, who is known for his roles in Better Call Saul and Orphan Black, has joined in a rather mysterious role. In fact, hours after it was revealed that Michael Mando has signed in, reports revealed that Abraham Attah has joined as well.

A few hours after that, reports emerged that Bokeem Woodbine will also be starring in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming movie. He will be playing an unnamed villain. The filming for Spider-Man: Homecoming began a few days back.  However, reports indicate that new cast members are still coming in.  Abraham Attah is the latest name to be added in this upcoming solo Spiderman movie. He made a huge splash last year after starring in Beasts of No Nation, a critically acclaimed movie from last year.

It seems like it has quietly become one of the most diverse cast to be ever assembled for a superhero movie. According to reports from Deadline, Attah has joined this movie but like most of the co-stars, the identity of the character he is supposed to play is yet to be revealed. Considering his age, it is possible that he will be playing one of Peter Parker’s high school buddies.

Attah was born in Ghana, but he came under Hollywood limelight after working in Beasts of No Nation, a critically acclaimed film by Joji Fukunaga. During this year’s Independent Spirit Awards, he received the Best Male Lead Award.

This clearly indicated that he was a rising star and like many impressive rising stars, his future looked quite promising. Till now, we know that the film will feature Tim Holland playing Spiderman, Iron Man by Robert Downey Jr and Marisa Tomei’s Aunt May.

Meanwhile, Michael Keaton will be playing a villain, probably the Vulture. Now, there were mystery role additions as well. This included stars like Danny Glover, Kenneth Choi, a mysterious secondary villain to be played by Logan Marshall-Green, Martin Starr and also Hannibal Buress.

A whole bunch of other people has been mentioned like Zendaya, the Disney Channel Breakout and Tony Revolori from The Grand Budapest Hotel. The cast for Spider-Man: Homecoming includes a bizarre mix of characters. Some are rising, some are great actors and some completely unknown.

The upcoming movie will be currently playing in Atlanta and Bokeem Woodbine, the Far go Actor will be playing a villain in the forthcoming movie from Sony Pictures Entertainment. Further details regarding his role are non-existent at this point. We know him as Mike Milligan from FX’s Fargo.

It seems like June 2016 will go down in the forthcoming books as the month when casting news was completely dominated by Spider-Man: Homecoming. Spiderman’s solo movie has been adding actors to its cast, left, right and center.  From such a huge cast, you can expect that this movie will be big.

Meanwhile, Spiderman 2 was one of the best superhero movies ever since Toby Maguire played a character that was very relatable. In 2015, Kevin Feige agreed with this sentiment and John Hughes was mentioned as an influence on Marvel’s friendly neighborhood Spiderman. At the moment, the cast for this upcoming film is getting stocked, but Jon Watts mentioned Hughes as a major inspiration for this film.
