Specs Of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Leaked, Powered By Snapdragon 820 Chipset!

The next set of Galaxy Note is going to be released by Samsung in August, and there is a lot of anticipation about the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The name should technically be Galaxy Note 6, but Samsung has decided to go ahead with number 7 since it is going to be better synced with the 2016 flagship from the company.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S7 since it has taken inspiration from the design of the latter.

The design is almost similar to the Samsung Galaxy S7 except the S Pen, which has been redesigned. Pocket Lint has reported that there is still no information on whether the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is going to be available in both curved and flat models, but for now, it is rumored that the Galaxy Note 7 is going to have a dimension of 153.5mm X 73.9mm X 7.9mm.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be 5.7 inches and will come with the Super AMOLED technology with a Quad HD resolution that has been found in the later Note varieties. The Note 7 is going to have a dual edge display similar to the Samsung Galaxy S7.

There is a rumor that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is going to have a powerful 12 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera, with Dual Pixels. This technology was used by Samsung in Galaxy S7 and S7 edge in March, this year, and will be incorporated in Samsung Galaxy Note 7 as well. There are no reports on the expected aperture for the camera in Note 7, but it is expected to the same as Galaxy S7, which was f.1/7 or better.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is believed to be equipped with an iris scanner and a fingerprint sensor and also be water resistant. Reports are suggesting that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is going to be available in the basic black, silver and blue variants.

The same reports that have leaked the specs for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 also state that the phablet is going to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor, with a Snapdragon 820 chipset. Android Headlines has also added that the Galaxy Note 7 is going to have the Adreno 530 GPU.

It is believed that the Snapdragon 821 chipset that Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is going to be equipped with is going to create a benchmark for smartphones, tablets and even devices with VR display.

There is no official announcement about when Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is going to be released, but the general idea is that it is going to take place around August, which also happens to coincide with the timeline that Qualcomm had released for their new Snapdragon 821 chipset.

There is some bad news for those who are looking forward to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Christian Today has reported that unlike what was expected, the Galaxy Note 7 isn’t going to have the Android 7, but will work on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

However, there is a rumor that Galaxy Note 7 might see the company replacing the microUSB connector for the USB-C Port. The main reason for this hasn’t been revealed yet, but rumor has it that the Gear VR headset that Samsung is going to release, will have the USB-C connection.
