Sophie Turner and Tye Sheridan Have a Lot of Hopes Riding On Them, Rumors of A Psychic Battle in X-Men: Apocalypse!

X-Men: Apocalypse will take us down the memory lane with the upcoming instalment. This time round, the characters in the film will be younger versions of the characters that we have seen and fallen in love with, previously. The most interesting aspect of X-Men: Apocalypse is that it is going to focus on the budding romance of Jean Grey and Cyclops.

Bryan Singer, the director of X-Men: Apocalypse, revealed to Cinema Blend that the two come together since they both feel like outsiders in the mansion. While the other mutants have learnt about their powers, Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) and Cyclops (Tye Sheridan) are still misfits.

When Jean Grey first comes to the mansion, Cyclops is blind and doesn’t get to see her. It is only when he gets the special pair of glasses that there is a beautiful world outside of his eyes and there he noticed Jean Grey.

The role of Cyclops and Jean Grey was previously played by James Marsden and Famke Janssen. These two have graced the role of the mutants in X-Men, X-2 and are also going to be a part of X-Men: Days of Future Past. Famke Janssen appeared in X-Men: The Last Stand as well.

Tye Sheridan and Sophie Turner have made their mark in the industry when it comes to their acting prowess. Tye Sheridan has wowed the audience with his work in The Tree of Life and Mud, while Sophie Turner is a household name thanks to Game of Thrones. However, given that there is a huge expectation from X-Men: Apocalypse, these two young actors have a lot riding on their shoulders.

Comic Book revealed that X-Men: Apocalypse has released the twelfth poster from the film and it shows En Sabah Nur (Oscar Isaac). As the story goes, En Sabah Nur was worshipped as a God at the beginning of civilization. The first and most powerful mutant from the world of X-Men, called Apocalypse had the power of many mutants in him, which made him invincible and immortal.

Apocalypse has woken up after thousands of years and is disillusioned with the world that he sees. He recruits mutants, including Magneto (Michael Fassbender) and starts a process to clean the earth of mankind and create a new order of species.

This means that Professor X (James McAvoy) will have to step in with Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) and bring in a group of X-Men to stop Apocalypse and his team of mutants.

What makes Apocalypse more powerful is the fact that he can control every little particle of matter. He possesses the power of mind-control, technopathy, teleportation and other very many of them. The X-Men will have to give their all to make sure that they can defeat Apocalypse and it might still fall short.

With more than a month left before X-Men: Apocalypse hits the screen and with the production wrapped up, there are a lot of new information that are seeping in every other day. Apocalypse is one of the most frightening villains in the Marvel universe. The stakes are always high in a superhero movie, but with X-Men they are way higher.

There are rumors of a psychic battle between Apocalypse and Xavier in the coming movie. There is a snippet in the trailer that has awed fans. Charles Xavier is shown facing Apocalypse on his two feet.

This had baffled the fans completely since they were wondering how Xavier, who is paraplegic, could be standing on his feet. Now with the scoop of the psychic war coming out, fans have been able to get a better picture of things.
