The Redmi 3 was a new budget smartphone announced by Xiaomi in January this year. The Chinese manufacturer has launched an enhanced edition of the smartphone with the Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro moniker. Almost all the specifications of Redmi 3 Pro are similar to the Redmi 3. It has an increased internal storage of 32 GB while the Redmi 3 handset features 16 GB of storage.
The Redmi 3 Pro features a Snapdragon 616 chipset is accompanied by 3 GB of RAM. The Redmi 3 had the same chipset with 2GB of RAM but it lacks a fingerprint scanner. According to Phone Radar, the newly released Redmi Pro 3 features it.
The design of the Redmi Pro 3 is similar to that of the regular version of Redmi 3. The Pro edition has a 5-inch display that supports HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. In terms of external storage, the Redmi Pro 3 has a 128 GB of microSD card. A microSD card can be added to the second SIM slot in the device.
There is a 13megapixel camera in the Redmi Pro 3 and includes features like phase detection autofocus and LED flash. It runs on MIUI 7.0 UI which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. The device comes with multiple color choices like gold, silver, gray and classic gold.
