Sony Xperia X Smartphones Compared With LG G5 And Galaxy S7, Android 6.0 Marshmallow Released For Xperia Z5!

The Sony Xperia X is well-equipped in terms of specs but it lags behind the Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5 in terms of RAM capacity at 3GB. The other devices are both equipped with 4GB of RAM. The screen on the S7 is slightly bigger at 5.1inches and the LG G5 measures up at 5.3inches compared to the 5inch screen on the Xperia X.

In the meantime, Sony has finally started rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for its latest flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z5. The update is now reaching out to the international variants of the smartphone. Android 6.0 Marshmallow was earlier rolled out for the Xperia Z5 in Japan only. Users should also note that it is Android 6.0 and not 6.0.1 which is rolling out for the Z5.

According to GSM Arena, Sony will launch dual-SIM options on both the Xperia X and Xperia X Performance. The white papers of the devices were uploaded on Sony’s dev portal and there was some interesting info found on the side as well.

Both the devices will have 64 GB internal storage, which is double the storage on their single-SIM variants. The firmware will occupy 15.4GB while 48.6GB will be available for your apps, files and multimedia.
