Sony Xperia X Is a Mid-Range Performer at A Very High Price-Tag, Will It Replace the Sony Xperia Z Series? Let’s See

The release date for both these devices are quite unclear at the moment but according to Sony, Xperia X will start shipping from the end of May. Pre-orders for the Xperia XA will start rolling out from late June. The Xperia X can be pre-ordered at the same price from Amazon along with the XA as well. X will be released on 20th May and XA will be released on 10th June.

The gold version of Xperia X is exclusive to Carphone Warehouse in case you have pre-ordered your device from this retailer. If you pre-order your device now, you will get a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact tablet, worth £249, completely free.

The pricing will begin at £32 per month and £59 needs to be paid up front. If you wish to get it SIM free, you need to pay a price of £499.99. Delivery will commence from 26th May if you pre-order now.

If you compare the Xperia X to devices like iPhone SE, Galaxy A5 2016 and Moto X Style, it beats them in the camera department. Apple and Motorola have superior Apple A9 and Snapdragon 808 processors respectively. Moto X Style and Galaxy A5 have bigger displays with the former featuring a QHD resolution.
