The sci-fi drama follows the life of eight sensates, who are people who can connect and communicate with each other via their minds. The main reason for this travel is because these eight characters are placed in different parts of the world.
Even though they are on different continents, these eight sensates connect with their minds and can use each other’s knowledge, language, and skill set to take them out of tight situations.
Vulture revealed that Lilly Wachowski, the co-creator of the series, is going to take a step back. Lilly is going to take a break since she needs a little time to herself. Lilly Wachowski came out to reveal that she was a transgender in March after a reported threatened to expose it. Given that she is going through a rough patch she will be taking a break from her director’s role in Sense8 Season 2.
While Lilly Wachowski is going to be off from her role as a director, she is going to remain the co-creator and given that she and her sister Lana Wachowskis have been working on all their projects and in with Lilly taking the backseat, Lana is going to run the show on her own.
