In other news, there are a lot of things that we learned from Sherlock: The Abominable Bride. First things first! Benedict Cumberbatch is back with a bang! He was away for a really long time, achieving a lot in the movies but viewers definitely felt that this is where he truly belonged.
Sherlock wonderfully reconnected with Sherlock’s character and his eyes twinkled with delight while featuring the uncanny portrayal of Sherlock as a massively intelligent machine, disguised as a quirky human character.
The 19th century setting worked like a charm and the real magic was noticing the dynamic between Watson and Cumberbatch, back in 1895. The story was gripping! We had a blood-splattered bride with her brains blown out and she returned from the dead, poised as a gun-wielding ghoul who dispatched her husband.
In the meantime, Sherlock and Mycroft might have another sibling. In season 3, while talking with politicians about the punishment to be served for Sherlock, there was a line he said which appeared to cryptic at that moment.
It went, “You know what happened with the other one.” This could simply mean that there is another sibling in the Sherlock family, probably a brother or a sister. Fans are assuming that it will be brother, whose character will be played by Tom Hiddleston!
