Frances Fisher is a very powerful actress and is best known for her role as the mother of Rose in Titanic. She will be in Criminal Minds Season 11 as a creepy and psychologically disturbed UnSub whom the BAU had dealt with fifteen years ago.
Messer has gone on to state that she is delighted to have the actress onboard to play a role in Criminal Minds Season 11. The showrunner has been trying to convince Fisher to come in for a part, but it hadn’t worked out until now. The whole team is delighted to have her onboard for the penultimate episode of one of their most popular season so far.
The finale is going to be called Devil’s Backbone. The backstory for Frances Fisher states that she and her husband had started a runaway helpline for the teens, only to get hold of them and brutally punish them when they didn’t conform to what they asked them to do.
The whole episode will be creepy and dark. The plot was worked out by Sharon Lee Watson and will be directed by Félix Enríquez Alcalá. There is a lot of anticipation about the finale now that Messer has revealed the grand plans for the episode.
