Scandal Season 5: Fitz And Olivia Take Their Relationship Forward, North’s Intentions Unclear!

With the Season 5 premiere of Scandal just around the corner, things are heating up. There are a lot of question that will be answered and revelations made in Scandal Season 5. The finale of Season 4 of Scandal might have ended on a happy note for Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington), but things didn’t turn out so well for the others.

The viewers are waiting to see what’s in store for most of the characters in the popular series. The fourth season saw, President Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) asking his wife, First Lady Mellie (Bellamy Young) being asked to leave the White House because of her involvement with the Operation Remington.

Fans know that with Mellie out of the White House, things will move in the right direction when it comes to Fitz and Olivia’s relationship, but aren’t very sure that it’s going to be a smooth ride. Mellie isn’t going to let her position of the First Lady and she is not letting it go down easy.

With Mellie’s name coming out in involvement with the B613, Chief of Stuff Cyrus Beene (Jeff Perry) was also asked to leave the service and he was replaced by Elizabeth North (Portia de Rossi) as the new Chief of Staff.

While it looks like a smart move on the part of the President, fans are going to find pout in Scandal Season 5 what’s Elizabeth North’s real intentions in helping out President Grant. Fans will remember that when Elizabeth North debuted in Scandal, she was in the team of Andrew Nichols (Jon Tenney) and had even conspired with him to start a war in Angola.

She had sided with the President and had brought out the names of Beene and Mellie with regard to the B613 episode, since she knew that she could gain out of the situation. Shonda Rhimes isn’t giving out any scoop yet, but fans are very sure that Elizabeth North has her loyalty with someone else and isn’t working for President Grant.

The Season 4 also saw Quinn (Katie Lowes) aiming the gun at Huck. While there were a lot of speculations if she is indeed going to end up shooting her lover and partner, there are reports that Huck (Guillermo Diaz) is going to be back for Season 5 of Scandal.

Huck isn’t going to have an easy Season 5 even if he survives Quinn’s bullets. He had gone behind Olivia’s back and had sided with her father Rowan Pope(Joe Morton) and Olivia might find out about this episode anytime soon and decide to act on the betrayal.

Huck on his part is also going to struggle with his decision to go back to the dark and join B613 He isn’t being able to stop from killing people and with Olivia set to find out about what he had done behind her back, things don’t look too good for him.

Huck has helped Rowan Pope, but Olivia did manage to get her father into the prison at the end of the last season However, fans know the power of Rowan Pope and since Olivia couldn’t really get to pin the B613 charges on him directly, there is a high possibility of him coming out of prison sometime soon.

Rowan Pope is a man powerful enough to not be sitting behind the bars for a minor case of embezzlement and this time when he finds out that it was his daughter who had put him behind the bars, he might make things very nasty for his daughter.
