Samsung Galaxy Note 6: Flagship Smartphone to Feature Android N, 6 GB RAM Expected on the Device, Likely to be Revealed in July!

The South Korean market leader is all set to stage a big event to unveil their next flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Note 6. This smartphone is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, which released back in 2015. The Galaxy Note 5 is regarded as one of the best smartphones to have released in 2015.

Even though the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge have just released, there is a lot of hype and buzz about the Galaxy Note 6. Samsung is also trying to move into a better position in the highly competitive smartphone industry with the help of the Note 6.

The Galaxy Note 6 is expected to be unveiled this July before IFA. Usually, Samsung releases its smartphones at the IFA,but this time around the manufacturer is going to change its way and stay ahead of its rivals, namely the Apple iPhone and the Google Nexus.

One of the coolest things about the Galaxy Note 6 is that the device is going to release with Android N out-of-the-box. Google released the developer version of Android N and claimed that the operating system will be available from summer 2016.

If the Galaxy Note 6 features Android N, Samsung is in the way of adding another feather to its cap by releasing the first non-Nexus Android smartphone with the latest unreleased operating system.

The combination of Android N and the Galaxy Note 6 will help users with their multi window and multitasking needs, whichare expected to get simpler. This Android N-powered device also offers a better experience in running a greater number of apps simultaneously.

There were rumours suggesting that the Galaxy Note 6 will be coming with a laptop docking station and Samsung is believed to have filed a patent. If the device comes with a docking station, then the smartphone itself will act as a touchpad with the increased ability to operate as a laptop.

Another interesting piece of information suggests that Samsung is going to replace its diamond pixel technology with a slimmer RGB Matrix AMOLED panel. It is expected to have a 5.8-inch display, which is slightly larger than its predecessors.

This AMOLED display is expected to come with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. If this rumor is indeed true, its vibrant display will be a tough competition to the iPhone 7.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 6 might feature a more powerful RAM that any of its previous versions. The device is expected to feature 6 GB of RAM. Samsung has enhanced the memory to make the device user-friendly and cope up with the ever-increasing demands of the RAM-devouring applications.

The market leader is also trying to increase the processing speed of its upcoming device. Rumors suggest that the device might be equipped with the Snapdragon 820 processor along with the Exynos 8890 chipset.

Samsung has added an external microSD card slot in the Galaxy Note 6. The storage can be expanded up to 256 GB.

Samsung has also targeted the people who are concerned with photographs. The device is equipped with a 12-mega pixel camera with Super Optical Image Stabilization. This new feature has a positive effect in enhancing photos in dim light conditions.

The Galaxy Note 6 also features an S Pen. This pen was previously available with the Galaxy Note5.
