Samsung Galaxy A9: Rumored to Hit Market Before the End of 2015, Leaked Images Provide a Quick Look at The Device!

The Samsung Galaxy A9 is a much anticipated smartphone from the Samsung stable and various rumors are already starting to build up concerning the device. It is going to the fourth addition to the A series that Samsung recently announced.

The Samsung Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and the Galaxy A7 have already made themselves known to the world when they were announced by Samsung just in the recent past.

Some leaked promotional images have recently made an appearance on the internet which gave fans a sneak peek at the upcoming device. The Galaxy A9 has not yet been officially announced by Samsung. The leaked images not only gave a glimpse at the Galaxy A9, but also showed the 2016 versions of the Galaxy A5 and the A7.

Previous reports regarding the device claimed that it might come with a 5.5 inch screen. However, another recent report from a renowned website places the screen size of the device at 6 inches.

The screen of the Galaxy A9 might sport a 1080p full HD 1080 x 1920 resolution Super AMOLED Display with a pixel density of 401ppi. It might come with dual 2.5D glass panel and it will feature an all-metal aluminum body.

The sleek and beautiful device is rumored to come with the measurements of 161.9×81.3×7.34mm.

Under the hood the Galaxy A9 will reportedly boast the latest Snapdragon 620 1.8GHz Octa-Core processor with 4x Cortex-A72 and 4x Corte-A52 cores. The powerful processor will be accompanied with 3GB of RAM along with Adreno 510 GPU.

The device might come packed with a powerful 4000mAh battery which will provide sufficient juice to keep the device up and running all through the day. The Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 feature might also come incorporated into the device.

In spite of being a flagship series smartphone the Galaxy A9 won’t be coming with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Instead it will be running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop combined with Samsung’s own TouchWiz interface.

In the memory department, the Galaxy A9 will come with 32GB of inbuilt storage space which can be further extended upto 128GB by using external microSD card.

The smartphone will come with a 13 megapixel rear camera which will sport the optical image stabilization feature and a bright f/1.9 aperture. The selfie camera will be of 8 megapixels and will come with a wide angle lens which will enable it to take panoramic images.

The standard set of connectivity features that the device will house include- Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, FM Radio and a Micro USB 2.0 port for the purpose of charging and data transfer. The device is going to be 4G compatible with built in 4G LTE Cat.7.

Other features include a fingerprint scanner which will ensure maximum security for its users’ private data and other information. The fingerprint reader will be housed in the home button of the device.

The promise that Samsung had previously made to bring the Samsung Pay feature to mid-range Galaxy smartphones have been made good by the company as the Galaxy A9 will come with the said feature built-in within itself.

The sensors that the phone will come with include- Ambient Light sensor, Proximity sensor, an Accelerometer and a Gyroscope.

No official statements from Samsung have yet been made regarding the possible release date or the price tag of the device, however, it is being speculated that the device will make its debut in the market during the Christmas season of the current year or sometime during the next year with a price tag of $450.
