Release Date Rumors for NBA 2K17, Kobe Bryant to Feature on the Legend Edition Cover, More Details!

Meanwhile, the gameplay in NBA 2K17 is really shaping up to be a challenge due to the recent exploits of Steph Curry from Golden State Warriors. In a recent podcast, Vine Report revealed that Mike Wang, the gameplay director said that they need to tweak NBA 2K17 in order to integrate Curry’s moves.

Wang stated that they naturally penalize things like taking deep shots, 30 to 35 feet, shooting off the dribble or shooting in traffic. In some way or other, everyone in the league more or less gets penalized while taking these bad shots.

Wang further explained that in a real life game, taking daring shots affect the performance of players. He also stated that they had to work hard in order to develop a virtual Curry which is similar to a real life version.

The director said that they needed to do something in order to break the rule and they will probably do that with Steph. According to him, that is what Badges are primarily designed to do. In order to see what improvements are made to the player, fans will need to wait until the game is released.

In other news, the price of NBA 2K16 has been reduced for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It also received a new roster update listing on 22nd April.
