Real Reason For The Delay Of Attack On Titan Season 2, Fans Share Spoilers, Catch Spin-offs Before The Release of Season 2!

Attack on Titan Season 2 was supposed to be released in 2015, but it got postponed to 2016 March-April. However, the anime has further been postponed to let the original magna go ahead by four story arcs. Tetsuro Araki had initially reported that he will try and come out with the second season of Attack on Titan soon after the ending of Season 1.

This didn’t happen since the original manga isn’t progressing. The team of Attack on Titan had initially thought that they will go ahead with original content for Season 2, but Tetsuro Araki realized that the main reason for the popularity of Attack on Titan was that it was completely based on the original manga.

The production for Attack on Titan Season 2 has been completely stalled and the whole team is busy on another series called Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. This has now fueled rumors that the second season might have been scrapped off completely.

Christian Daily has reported that fans need not be worried about the second season being scrapped off since the production team is waiting for the original manga to go ahead by four story arcs.

There is now a new report that has come up. It is being stated that the main reason for the delay of Attack on Titan Season 2 isn’t the wait for the original manga to go ahead by four story arcs. It is being delayed because the whole team is busy with Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress.

Fans had already been suspicious of the fact that the producers of the anime, Attack on Titan Season 2 said that the delay was because there was lack of material. The fans knew that this couldn’t be the case since the two story arcs that have been dealt with in the original manga, Clash of Titans and Uprising, have enough material that can be used to start off with the work.

When Tetsuro Araki mentioned that he was holding discussion with Hajime Isayama, the creator of the manga while working on Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, fans realized that his primary attention was on the former and hence there wasn’t any work being done on Attack on Titan Season 2.

Movie Pilot has revealed that there are reports suggesting that Attack on Titan Season 2 might be released in the second half of 2016. However, fans are a little skeptical about this information since the creation of an anime with all the sketches and animation and the storyboard will take a lot of time and a release date of 2016 might be a little too ambitious.

Attack on Titan had released back in 2013 and it became an instant hit. The viewers praised its rich content and the brilliant and gripping storyline. While the fans wait for the second season to be released, they can go ahead and watch a video that has supposedly been leaked from Season 2.

According to Crossmap, a leaked video from the upcoming season show titans entering the walls. With no confirmation on when Season 2 of Attack on Titan is going to be released, fans have started speculating about what they can expect in the upcoming season, based on the original manga. Fans have already been informed that Levi Ackerman will die in Attack on Titan Season 2.

  1. Levi Ackerman is still alive in the manga… if the show is “completely based on the original manga” he should be alive by the end of Season 2. That said, he could always die in the next chapter, particularly where it is going
