Possible Links Of Upcoming Marvel Movies with Thor 3, Why Thor Won’t Take Part in the Civil War, And More

Recently, Kevin Feige said that Thor: Ragnarok will be the most important film of Phase 3. The importance of all films per phase has been quite inconsistent so far. In Phase 1, we saw Marvel trying to set all the films up like The Avengers, which was brilliant and Iron Man 2, not so much. The setting up in Phase 2 hasn’t been great so far.

Viewers witnessed Captain America: Winter Soldier, which didn’t even mention the existence of Ultron. We are all expecting Avengers: Age of Ultron to be awesome, but the upcoming blockbuster might completely ignore the continuity of the earlier films. Let’s take a look at Phase 3 films and how they might affect Thor 3.

It seems like the upcoming Captain America: Civil War won’t have any effect on Thor 3 unless Iron Man decides to make a Thor Clone, of course! It will hardly be the way they decide to do it in the film. It could be more like Surtur’s invasion of on Asgard while facing Thor and Loki. Viewers might witness an Easter egg, but that’s about it.

In the meantime, Doctor Strange seems more likely to have a relation with Thor 3. It is because Dormammu might end up having an interaction with the Soul Stone or Surtur. Doctor Strange or another additional character could be featured in space or Asgard.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ was an immense hit and their story can be connected in many different ways! The film will be taking place in space and, as a result, there might be some discussion between aliens regarding the impending apocalypse of The Ragnarok Cycle. The Collector will most possibly return, and we could see him with the Twilight Blade that eventually gets stolen by Surtur. Another possible scenario involves Beta Ray Bill joining forces with the Guardians.

Meanwhile, like most Spider-Man movies, the upcoming movie in this franchise will be another down-to-earth release. Hence, you should never expect any form of reference to Thor 3. However, a cameo might be able to reference him in this movie. We won’t be seeing any Infinity Stones in Black Panther as the storyline is set after the Avengers: Infinity War Part 1.
