There is also a new collision system in PES 2016 and it will create a different outcome every time a player runs into each other. There are various factors that will contribute to the collision like player strength. There will also be an aerial strength battle when the ball is up in the air and two players are battling for it.

In that case, players must use the left stick in order to gain control over the ball. Meanwhile, on offense, the advancing player will have better reactions compared to that of the defender. He could make a fake in order to dodge the defense or choose to dribble past the defender.

Open spaces will be much better utilized by Computer Players (AI). In that case, players will find them open too often which will finally result in more scoring plays arising out of combinations. In PES 2016, the goalkeepers are smarter as well.
