OnePlus Two: Hardware Hard To Beat, Complaints Regarding Audio Quality and Invite Scheme!

Most of the invites that were dispatched in the first round took over a month to be delivered and it saw numerous consumers backing out of the invite after getting tired of waiting for their new phone to be delivered to them.

With OnePlus Two released in July, the company is still shelling out invites to the customers for them to lay their hands on the new version of the phone and customers are sure that time taken to finally reach out to the general public is a long way away.

The very fact that there are millions of orders and limited stock with the company is evident from the fact that company recently apologized for the way they have missed the deadlines for delivery.

With the company constantly missing out on their OnePlus Two ETAs there is an issue at the headquarters, which reports suggest is over the manner in which the launch had been handled.

  1. Phone doesn’t have NFC. I have my oneplus two now for over a week and can’t complain about the sound, quality is far better than the iphones or my previous galaxy. Can’t say about other of the latest smartphones. The invite system is completely shambles, I was myself 5000 in the waiting list and never got the invite but two of my referral did and they were 2.5 million down in the queue. One of those referrals got me the phone.

  3. Forgot to mention, phone is great, very fast and battery lasts me just about a day. Only issue so far I found is the camera is a bit leggy and it can take sometimes a second or two to save the picture after you press the button. Enough to miss a good picture!!

  5. That it is a powerhouse of a phone is an understatement for One plus two. If you are that “value appreciating” customer (not a synonym for price sensitive) who is not willing to pay a higher premium for sub specs Samsung phone , options like One Plus two and the anticipated Mi 5 from Xiaomi are possibly the best bet today. But the choice comes with a flaw – Mi 5 is not going to reach India anytime before Feb even it its rumored launch happens in Nov’15 – One plus two has been a sheer disappointment with its waiting game. When the product is good – one can command customer’s choice but an agonizing wait like this undermines the ” USP” as the customer , being uncertain of the delivery date will choose to move. One plus two has clearly goofed up on its “Just in time” production logic and will loose a significant chunk of the “enrolled for invite” clients – I am surely dropping off the list !!! Also remember by the time they are ready to meet the demand – an optimistic bet would be six months from now – their will be a new “phone ” on the block – Buying a One plus does not insulate a customer from the better loaded smartphones that will be launched in 2016.
