OnePlus One vs. Xiaomi Mi4 vs. OnePlus Two: 2 Budget Performers Face Off Against an Upcoming Sensation, More Details

The OnePlus 2 will be a worthy upgrade over the OnePlus One. It is one of the most highly anticipated devices to release in 2015. In the meantime, both Xiaomi Mi4 and OnePlus One are trying to provide the best deal. While this means good news for the consumer, it also means that buyers will have to decide between the two.

Let us therefore see how the OnePlus One fares against the Xiaomi Mi4 and the upcoming successor, OnePlus Two.  OnePlus Two will come with a 5.5inch LTPS LCD display like its predecessor and will receive protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

The OnePlus One had Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Compared to these, the Xiaomi Mi4 has a 5inch display that is ideal for people who do not prefer a large screen-size. It is protected by Concor Corning Glass that is different from Corning Gorilla Glass in the sense that it shatter-proof but not fully scratch-resistant.

According to the popular OnePlus forums, the upcoming device will sport a Snapdragon v2.1 processor under its hood. The OnePlus One had a Snapdragon 801 processor. The Xiaomi Mi4 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz and includes an Adreno 330GPU.

The camera in the OnePlus Two will be a major upgrade over the OnePlus One. It is expected to come with a 16MP primary shooter compared to the 13MP shooter in the OnePlus One. Rumors indicate that the secondary camera might not change.

The Mi4 has a 13MP Sony camera as its rear shooter with LED Flash and an 8MP front camera. The rear camera comes with f/1.8 aperture and can focus really fast in 0.3 seconds.

For its specifications, the OnePlus One was launched at a really wonderful price point. Most people were quite impressed with its overall performance, build quality and design. However, a lot of people were disturbed with the initial marketing strategies of this device. Earlier, it had an invite-only platform but right now it is commercially available.

If you like the phablet-form factor, then OnePlus One is a device you should definitely check out. If you are patient, we suggest that you wait for the OnePlus Two. The latter will release with the latest Android 5.1 Operating system and come with an enhanced Li-Po 3300mAh battery.
