No Sign of Half-Life 3 At E3 2016, Rumored to Arrive in 2018 With VR Support!

Some fans are of the opinion that Laidlaw’s departure might have put the last nail in the coffin for Half-Life 3. They have lost all hope for the game and believe that Valve has lost all interest in developing the title after Laidlaw left the company. In that case, Half-Life 3 might not be released at all.

Coming back to the matter of VR, it was reported that the game will be specially designed for the HTC Vive. VR is definitely the future of the gaming industry and if indeed Valve develops a Half-Life game, it will most likely arrive with the particular technology incorporated into it.

It is also likely that the game will be released for the next-gen consoles from Microsoft and Sony, that is Xbox Two and PlayStation 5. In that case, both these consoles will come loaded with the support for VR gaming.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo was recently held in Los Angeles, California. It kicked off on June 14 and continued till June 16. Fans expected Valve to shed some light onto the matter of Half-Life 3. However, as can be seen that the company did not come forward with any sort of updates regarding Half-Life 3 at the event.

Stay tuned for more updates on Half-Life 3.
