There is some good news for Call of Duty Black Ops 3 players. It will be soon released for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The PS4 users will be most happy since they will first receive the DLC. This game was released back in November, and this DLC has already started releasing all over the world. However, there’s more.
This will be followed by four additional contents that will be available for download. Two of them have been launched by Treyarch already, and they are known as Eclipse and Awakening. The other two are yet to receive a name, but they will be launched by the end of 2016. Awakening was released on 26th February for PS4 and on 3rd March for PC and Xbox One.
In the meantime, gamers enjoyed Eclipse from 19th April on Xbox and PC while PS4 players will be receiving it soon. There are four maps included in multiplayer for the first one. These include Hijacked, Gauntlet, Rise and Splash.
It also includes a completely new Zombie map. There are different maps included in the second like Verge, Knockout, Rift and Spire. It further adds a new chapter in the Zombie mode as well. In the meantime, DLC Map Pack 3 will be released on 21st July for Xbox and PC and 21st June for PS4. Meanwhile, the third one will include hints regarding another zombie mode along with Blackjack, a multiplayer options specialist.
The DLC Map Pack 4 is the last downloadable content. Gamers will receive it on 23rd August for the PS4 and on 22nd September for PC and Xbox One. If you thought why everything first releases on the PlayStation 4, keep in mind that this happens due to an agreement between Sony and Activision.
In other news, Treyarch recently confirmed that it will completely support all kinds of Black Ops 3 Mods. The release date for closed Black Ops 3 Mods is finally here, and invites have already started rolling out. Calls of Duty fans have been creating new game modes for quite some time, and there are loads of mods which enhance the Call of Duty experience.
This keeps the game alive as it ages and keeps offering new kinds of gameplay. Take a look at the earlier COD games and you will understand. In case you didn’t know, a mod is actually a modification to Call of Duty while it shipped. This permits new game modes, recreations of older COD series, new maps, paintball version of the game and many more features.
Treyarch further announced that there will be complete support for mods in Black Ops 3. In the middle of February, Treyarch revealed that they are still working on the date and on 1st April; it was revealed that Black Ops 3 Mods alpha is currently under development.
This was further clarified that it is not an April fool’s joke. On 20th April, it was learned that the closed alpha is underway, and it will be a few months before the mods beta for Black Ops 3 is released.
Recently, Treyarch revealed that Specialist Bribes will be coming soon to Black Ops 3. The message asked whether players are looking forward to personalizing their favorite Specialist. From Tuesday to Thursday, players will be offered a new Specialist themed Bribe, and it will feature a different Specialist on each of these days.
